Giant Casemakers (Phryganeidae)

 

The Phryganeidae is a family of caddisflies containing 15 genera and ca. 80 species distributed throughout North America and Eurasia; this family includes the largest known caddisflies. The larvae make tube cases of spiral or circular wrapped vegetation.
